Miqiao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Ning County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Ning County, connecting Zhengning County in the East and south, Pingzi town in the west, Jiuxian Township and Chunrong Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 98.87 square kilometers.
In 1949, miqiao district was set up; in 1983, miqiao township was changed. In March 2016, miqiao township was removed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in MI Qiao town was 26200. In June 2020, miqiao town governs 14 administrative villages.

History of construction
In 1949, miqiao district was set up.
In 1950, it was changed to Pingzi district.
In 1958, miqiao commune was established.
In 1959, it was transferred to Zhengning county and merged into Shanhe commune.
In 1961, miqiao commune was established in Ningxian county.
In 1965, Gaocang commune was incorporated.
In 1983, it was changed to miqiao township.
In March 2016, miqiao township was removed from township to town.
