Nanqiu Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Huan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Huan County, bordering Tianshui town and Shancheng Township in the East, luoshanchuan Township and Xiaonangou Township in the south, magaozhuang Township and zhangjiayuan Township in Tongxin County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the west, and Maguan town in Tongxin County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the north. The administrative area is 411.5 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 6180 people had registered residence in Nan Qiu township.
In January 1953, Nanqiu district was established. In April 1958, jiangnanqiu was directly under the township. In October 1958, Nanqiu commune was established. In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. As of June 2020, Nanqiu village has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.
