Quanshan Town, subordinate to Minqin County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Gansu Province and the middle of Minqin County. It is adjacent to sanquchaiwan in the East, datan and shuangcike in the south, Gucheng Nature Reserve in the west, hongshaliang Township in the north, and is about 33 kilometers away from Minqin County, with an area of 110.64 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Quanshan town registered residence was 14309.
During the Han Dynasty, Quanshan town belonged to Wuwei County. Western Jin, Northern Dynasties, Northern Wei, Western Wei, Xuanwei county. In 1934, Quanshan Township, the Sixth District, was established. In 1985, Quanshan town was established. As of June 2020, Quanshan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities, 12 administrative villages and 1 forest farm living area. The people's Government of the town is stationed in the sixth community of Fucheng village.
In 2011, Quanshan town achieved a GDP of 36.062 million yuan, including 2.68 million yuan of agricultural GDP, 1.2 million yuan of animal husbandry income, accounting for 44.8% of the total agricultural output value, and 6068 yuan of per capita net income of farmers. In 2018, Quanshan town has 9 industrial enterprises and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Han Dynasty, Quanshan town belonged to Wuwei County.

From the Northern Zhou Dynasty to the Sui Dynasty, it belonged to guzang county.
In Tang Dynasty, it belongs to Mingwei mansion.

In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Zhenfan county.
In 1934, Quanshan Township, the Sixth District, was established.
In 1936, it was the joint protection of hongliuyuan and hongliugang in the Sixth District.
In 1947, Quanshan township was established.
In 1956, hongshaliang, hongliuyuan and hongliugang were set up respectively.
In 1958, hongliuyuan commune was merged and established.
In December 1961, it was divided into hongliugang, hongliuyuan and hongshaliang communes.
In 1964, hongliuyuan commune and hongliugang commune merged into hongliuyuan commune.
In 1983, it was changed into hongliuyuan township.
In 1985, Quanshan town was established.

The people's Government of the town is stationed in the sixth community of Fucheng village.

Liancheng site
Liancheng site is located in the sand dune 12.5 kilometers southwest of Quanshan Town, 42 kilometers southwest of Minqin County. It is named after the connection of the East and west city sites. The exposed relics on the ground include coarse red pottery with sand, rope pattern gray pottery, three color porcelain and residual bricks, cloth pattern residual tiles, copper and iron pieces, as well as "Kaiyuan Tongbao" copper coins, stone mills, charcoal ashes and animal bones.
