Gaozhen

Gaozhen, affiliated to Hengshan District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of Hengshan District, bordering Dianshi town of Zizhou County in the East, weijialou town in the south, zhaoshipan town in the West and hancha town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 20.3 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 23 kilometers, with a total area of 255 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, gaozhen has 17 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 23862 households registered residence in the town. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of gaozhen reached 138 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 3 million yuan.

Historical evolution

In the early Qing Dynasty, gaojiagou was named after Gao's family name. In 1946, it gradually became a market town and got its present name.

The Northern Song Dynasty belonged to Suide County, Yan'an Prefecture, Yongxing military road.

In the Southern Song Dynasty, Jindi was located in suidezhou.

Yuan is Mizhi County, Yan'an Road, Shaanxi Province.
