Zhangjiahe town

Zhangjiahe town belongs to Mianxian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the hinterland of Qinling Mountains in the north of Mianxian County, it borders liuhou town of Liuba county and Feng county of Baoji City in the East, Chadian town in the south, Guanyinsi town of Lueyang County in the west, Liangdang County of Gansu Province and Feng county of Baoji City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 19 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 29.5 kilometers, with a total area of 326.14 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Zhangjiahe town has seven administrative villages. By the end of 2018, Zhangjia River town had 5376 registered residence population. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Zhangjiahe town reached 224 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 1.42 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 10 million yuan.

Historical evolution

It got its name because the town government was stationed in Zhangjiahe village.

After October 1949, ZHANGJIAHE township was established.

In 1958, Zhangjiahe management area was established.

In 1965, Zhangjiahe commune was established.

In 1968, it was renamed Gaofeng commune.

In 1976, it was renamed Zhangjiahe commune.

In 1983, it was changed to ZHANGJIAHE township.

In December 1995, Xishan village, which was originally Zhangjiahe Township, BAMIAO Township and lengyuhe Township, was merged into ZHANGJIAHE township.

In December 2001, the former Maoba Township and jinhuamiao Township were merged into ZHANGJIAHE township.

In May 2011, it was changed to Zhangjiahe town.
