Historical evolution

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was first under the joint protection of Huanglong (township), and then under the jurisdiction of Huanglong township.
In 1950, zhoujiashan township was still established.
In 1958, zhoujiashan management area was established.
In 1964, the residence was moved from zhoujiashan to Niangniang Temple and renamed zhoujiashan commune.
In 1968, it was renamed Changqing commune.
In 1983, it was changed into zhoujiashan township.
In December 1995, the former mitoshi Township and zhoujiashan Township were merged to establish zhoujiashan town.
In 2011, when the Township Institutional Reform of zhoujiashan Town, the former Lianfeng village of Huangsha town and Tonggousi town was merged into zhoujiashan town.
