Juyuan town belongs to Chenggu County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the north of Chenggu County and the hilly area at the south foot of Qinling Mountains. It borders Yuangong town in the East, wulangmiao town in the south, Laozhuang town in the West and Shuangxi town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 15.1 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 21.6 km, with a total area of 204 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
Because it is rich in citrus, it is the northernmost citrus producing area in China.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the upper and lower Jiaying, shengxiankou, mucaokou and bandenghe of the North Road 30 dam.
In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), it belonged to the upper and lower Jiaying of the northern 30 dam.
