Pu town belongs to Hantai District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. Historical evolution
It got its name from the old name of Shibalipu.
It used to be called Shibalipu. In 1935, it was renamed Puzhen.
From 1949 to 1958, he was the resident of Nanzheng County People's government.
In 1958, Nanzheng County was abolished and incorporated into Hanzhong City as a red flag commune.
In 1961, it was changed into Puzhen District, with jurisdiction over six townships of Puzhen, Xinmin, Qili, Xinpu, Wangjiang and Jinhua, and the District Office in Puzhen.
