Jiaoli Township
Jiaoli Township belongs to Yichuan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the middle of Yichuan County. It borders niujiadian Township in the East, Danzhou town in the south, Yingwang Township in the West and Yunyan town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 27 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 24.3 kilometers, with a total area of 288 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Jiaoli countryside has jurisdiction over six administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population was 7744. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Jiaoli township was 104 million yuan, and the total sales of social goods was 3.14 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Ming Dynasty was named after the intersection of Shiwang River and Yuanjia river.
It was called jiayangli from Kangxi to the end of Qing Dynasty.
In 1929, it was under the jurisdiction of the first district.
In 1940, it was changed to Danyang township.
In October 1949, it was changed to Danyang district.
In August 1950, it was renamed the second district.
In June 1955, it was renamed Jiaoli district.
In July 1957, Jiaoli township was established.
In September 1958, Jiaoli commune was established.
In June 1983, the township was restored.
