Xiasiwan town
Xiasiwan town belongs to Ganquan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Ganquan County, it is adjacent to Shimen Township in the East, Dao town and Fu County in the south, Qiaozhen Township and Yongning Town in Zhidan County in the west, and zhuanyaowan town in Ansai District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 18.3 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 39 km, with a total area of 426.78 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Xiasiwan town has one community and nine administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of the lower temple town was 10930. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Xiasiwan town was 37.98 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 4.89 million yuan, and the total sales of social goods reached 16 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is located in the bend of the river, next to Hongmen Temple (commonly known as Xiasi), so it is named.
Before 1934, it belonged to Ansai County.
In 1935, it was directly under the central government of the Soviet government in the Shaanxi Gansu border region.
From the 25th year of the Republic of China to the 26th year of the Republic of China (1936-1937), it was the Second District of Ganluo county.
From the 26th year of the Republic of China to the 36th year of the Republic of China (1937-1947), it was the Second District of Ganquan County.
In 1958, Qiaozhen and Wangping communes were merged into Xiasiwan commune.
In 1961, it was divided into Qiaozhen and Wangping communes, and Xiasiwan commune was set up.
In 1983, Xiasiwan township was established.
In 1998, it was changed into a town.
In 2001, YUCHA township was abolished and merged into Xiasiwan town.
