Yaotou town

Yaotou town belongs to Chengcheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the southwest of Chengcheng County, it borders Chengguan town in the East, Luobin town in Pucheng County in the south, Xigu town in Baishui County across Luohe River in the west, and Anli Township in the north. The total area is 57.52 square kilometers.

By June 2020, yaotou town has four communities and six administrative villages. As of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yao tou town was 28893. Historical evolution

It was named "yaotou" because it was located on the site of ceramic kiln. Later, it became the present name because "Yao" and "Yao" had the same pronunciation.

From the Jin Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, changrunli was set up.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Changrun town was established.

In 1929, the southwest district was established, and the district office was located in Changrun town (yaotou).

In 1935, luorunlian was established.

In 1939, luorun township was established.

In 1950, it belonged to four districts. Yaotou old street was set up by the district government.

In 1958, it merged with Anli township to form Xianfeng commune.
