Jindui town
Jindui town belongs to Huazhou District, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the southeast of Huazhou District, it borders Luonan County of Shangluo City in the East, Huayin City in the northeast, Baoan town of Luonan County in the south, Daming town in the west, Xinglin town in the northwest and lianhuasi town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 19.3 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 19.5 km, with a total area of 224 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Jindui town has four communities and four administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of Jin Dui town registered residence was 15556. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Jindui town reached 14 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 11.23 billion yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 218 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In ancient times, it was called Jindou, because the local government once introduced "Doujin" to the local government. Later, it was changed to Jindui, and it was also called "Jindui city" because it was surrounded by green hills.
It belonged to Huazhou in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was Lingnan township of Huaxian county.
In May 1949, it was changed into Lingnan district (once known as seven districts).
In April 1957, it was changed to Jindui township.
In September 1958, the happy commune was established.
In January 1959, it was subordinate to Jindui commune in Weinan county.
In September 1961, it was subordinate to Jindui commune of Huaxian county.
In November 1980, Jindui commune was changed into Jindui town.
