Fengyuan town
Fengyuan town belongs to Linwei District, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Located at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains and in the south of Linwei District, Chongning tableland (also called Changren tableland) borders Gaotang town of Huaxian County in the East, Chongning town in the south, Yancun town in the West and Xiangyang Street in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 7.7 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 8.1 km, with a total area of 43.47 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Fengyuan town has 15 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Fengyuan town was 26384. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Fengyuan town reached 110 million yuan, realizing an industrial added value of 14.55 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In the Ming Dynasty, it was known as "changrenyuan" (also known as Fengyuan), so it was named Fengyuan town.
In 553, Zhongyuan County ruled this area.
