It is bounded by West Weiyang road of Qindu District in the East, Xiwu town of Xingping City in the west, Dawang town of Weiyi District in the South and Maquan street of Qindu District in the north. Historical evolution
It is named because it is located on the Bank of Weihe River.
In 1958, it belonged to the first and second administrative areas of Maquan commune.
In 1961, it was changed into Weibin commune.
In 1966, it was renamed union commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Weibin township.
In April 1997, the township was changed into Weibin Town, and Maoling street was transferred to Weibin town in the same year.
In March 2005, Weibin town was transferred to Xianyang high tech Industrial Development Zone as a whole.
In June 2010, Weibin town was transferred to Qindu District of Xianyang city.
In July 2011, the original Weibin town was abolished and Weibin street was established.
