Dongnan Town, subordinate to Longxian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Longxian County, adjacent to Dongfeng Town in the East, Badu town in the south, and Chengguan town in the West and North. The maximum distance from east to west is 15.68 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.35 kilometers, with a total area of 98.22 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Dongnan town has 15 administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of southeast town registered residence was 47570. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Dongnan town was 279 million yuan, 178 commercial outlets, and the total financial revenue was 1.3 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is located in the southeast of the county.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to the joint protection of southeast Township in central district.
In July 1949, the southeast district was established, with jurisdiction over five townships.
In 1958, it belonged to the southeast management area of Chengguan commune.
In 1961, the southeast commune was established, with jurisdiction over two districts.
In 1984, the commune was changed to Southeast Township, with jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages.
In June 1997, the township was withdrawn and the Yangjiazhuang village was transferred to Chengguan town.

In July 2005, the village was removed and merged into a group. Goujiagou village was merged into Zhangjiazhuang village. Banqiaogou village was merged into Caiyuan village. Dangjiazhuang village was merged into huanghuayu village. Tianjiazhuang village was merged into Dongxing village. Yanyushan village and Gaopo village were merged into Hegou village.
In July 2011, dental township was abolished and merged into southeast town.
By the end of 2011, Dongnan town had 22 administrative villages, including bianjiazhuang, Zhangjiazhuang, Gaomiao, Caiyuan, Zhengjiagou, Dongxing, huanghuayu, Zhigou, Hougou, Hegou, liangjiacun, shenjiazui, moeeryuan, yangjiapo, Liangfu, dental, Yucun, dingma, yanjiaan, jiaojiashan, panai and jijiazhuang, with 138 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Dongnan town has 15 administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in Liangjia Village.
