Mi Gan Qiao Town
Miganqiao Town, belonging to Fengxiang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Fengxiang District, adjacent to yaojiagou town and Tianjiazhuang town in the East, Chengguan town in the south, Fanjiazhai town in the West and Liangting town in Linyou County in the north. The total area is 197 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, the town has 13 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Minqiao town was 38288. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture and industry reached 170 million yuan, 310 million yuan and 280 million yuan respectively.
Historical evolution
It is said that the queen mother passed by here and the bridge was destroyed by heavy rain. She borrowed millet straw to build the bridge, so she got the name.
The Qing Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of purunli.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Li Township.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and merged with the township (Wulong district is reserved), which is under the jurisdiction of Wulong District, xiaoshigong Township, dongjiatou Township and Daxia Township, and has jurisdiction over 21 villages.
In September 1958, the district and township were abolished and under the jurisdiction of Chengguan commune.
In August 1961, the commune was set up with 13 production teams and 115 production teams.
