Qindu street is located in the east of Fuyi District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is adjacent to Xinglong Street and Wuxing Street of Chang'an District in the East and Southeast, Caotang street in the South and southwest, wuzhu street in the West and northwest, Lingma street of Chang'an District in the north and northeast. Qindu street was Fengjing in the Western Zhou Dynasty, where King Wen of the Zhou dynasty built his capital after cutting down Chong. In 401, the Emperor Yao Xing and his civil and military officials went to Caotang temple from the capital (Seoul) to listen to kumarashi's lectures. A ferry was set up here (the east city of Qindu street is close to Fenghe River), which was renamed Qindu. In the Tang Dynasty, it was still called Qindu, and gaopian sent Li suiliang's poem: "it was late for the poets to return to Qindu.". Around the first year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (1426), it was changed into Qindu town.

The origin of place names
In the third year of Hongzhi (401) of the later Qin Dynasty, Yao Xing, the emperor of the later Qin Dynasty, often led a hundred civil and military officials from Chang'an, the capital city, to listen to the teachings of the eminent monk kumarashi in Caotang Temple of Huxian county. In order to facilitate communication, he set up a ferry on the West Bank of the Fenghe River, hence the name.
