Luyuan Street
Luyuan street, belonging to Gaoling District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the center of the District, slightly northeast. It is adjacent to Liyang street in Lintong District in the East, Xinshi street in Lintong District in the southeast, Yuchu and Zhangbu towns in the south, Chonghuang Township in the southwest, Tongyuan town in the West and Pixi town in Sanyuan County in Xianyang City in the north, with a total area of 53.1 square kilometers.
Luyuan street has the Tang Zhaohui courtyard tower, which is a 53 meter high brick tower with eight sides and thirteen levels of dense eaves.

Historical evolution
In the Western Han Dynasty, Luyuan was once the garden of emperor Huidi Liu ying'an's mausoleum. In 619, Luyuan county was set up here (the first year of Zhenguan, i.e. 627).
The spring and Autumn period belongs to the Qin Dynasty.
The Han Dynasty belongs to zuofengyi Gaoling county.
After Sui and Tang Dynasties, it belonged to Gaoling county.
It was Guo Xiali in Ming Dynasty.
The first year of the Republic of China (1912), belongs to the central region.
After 1949, it became Chengguan town.
In August 1958, it was built into Dongfeng commune together with Zhongwang township. On October 15, it was changed into Dongfeng farming area.
On January 1, 1959, Gaoling county was abolished and changed into Gaoling commune, and the farming area was changed into Zhongren district under the jurisdiction of Gaoling commune of Sanyuan county.
On September 1, 1961, Gaoling restored the county system and established Chengguan commune.
In June 1984, it was renamed Luyuan town.
In 2001, Yaohui township was merged into Luyuan town.

In 1996, Luyuan Township governed eight administrative villages, namely, Chengguan community and Tianjia village, Shangyuan village, Gaojia village, wapenzhang village, Hejia village, Gucheng village, CaoShi village and Dongjie village.
In 1996, Yaohui Township had nine administrative villages: Majia, Beifan, Dongsheng, Yaohui, Caowang, Dongfan, Jiangliu, Yinwang and Maizhang.
In 2001, Yaohui township was abolished and merged into Luyuan Town, with jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, namely CaoShi, Zhangjia, Gaojia, Tianjia, Dongjie, Beijie, Hejia, Shangyuan, Gucheng, Yaohui, Majia, Beifan, Dongsheng, Caowang, Yinwang, Dongfan, Jiangliu and Maizhang.
In 2015, Yuchu town was abolished and huangce village of Yuchu town was classified as Luyuan street.
By the end of 2011, Luyuan street had jurisdiction over four communities: Nanxin, Chengcheng, Luyuan and Luxiang; 18 administrative villages: Dongjie, CaoShi, Beijie, Tianjia, Gucheng, Shangyuan, Hejia, Zhangjia, Gaojia, Maizhang, Yinwang, Jiangliu, Dongfan, Caowang, Yaohui, Dongsheng, Beifan and Majia; 108 resident groups and 143 villager groups.
