Hongmiaopo street, belonging to Lianhu District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Lianhu District, adjacent to Huaqiang road and Beiguan Street in the East, Huancheng North Road in the south, Qingnian Road Street and Huancheng West Road Street in the west, Taoyuan road street across the second West Ring Road in the West, weiyanggong street in Weiyang District in the north, with a total area of 9.6 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
The origin of place names
According to legend, during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573-1620), Wu Tianguan temple was built on the south slope of the original dragon head. Its walls were red, so it was named hongmiaopo.
History of construction
In 1949, Xi'an is the 11th district of a township.
In 1955, it belonged to dabaiyang Township, Weiyang District.
In June 1957, hongmiaopo, Zhifang village, huoshaobei and baijiakou village in dabaiyang Township were divided into Lianhu District and hongmiaopo street was set up.
On December 9, 1958, Beiguan Street and hongmiaopo street were set up, and the office was located in Beiguan main street.
On March 1, 1959, hongmiaopo street was restored.
In May 1960, it was assigned to Weiyang District as hongmiaopo branch of Daming Palace commune.
In July 1962, it returned to Lianhu District and changed to hongmiaopo commune.
In November 1966, it was renamed Sanhong commune.
In April 1972, it was renamed hongmiaopo commune.
In December 1978, the streets were restored.
