Guying market town

Guying market town, belonging to Cao County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeast of Cao County, bordering jiunu town of Chengwu County in the East, Houji Hui town in the southeast, Wangji town in the southwest, Pulian town in the west, and ranyu town of Dingtao County in the north. The area is 117.56 square kilometers. In 2018, 90265 people registered residence.

At the beginning of 1958, Dongfeng commune was set up. At the end of the same year, it was renamed as guyingji commune. In December 1983, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built. In November 1988, qinzhuang township was withdrawn, and its jurisdiction was divided into anrenji Township and guyingji township. In December 1996, guyingji township was abolished and guyingji town was established. In June 2020, guying market town will have 38 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

Historical evolution

After 1912, it belongs to the Fifth District of Caoxian county (guyingji District).

In August 1949, it belonged to the second district.

In 1952, it belonged to guying gathering area.

In 1957, it belonged to guyingji township.

At the beginning of 1958, Dongfeng commune was set up. At the end of the same year, it was renamed as guyingji commune.

In December 1983, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built.
