In 1983, with the consent of the Ministry of foreign affairs, it was opened to India, Nepal and other religious countries.
The area composed of two mountains and two lakes, gangrenboqin, namunani, mapanyongcuo and Laangcuo, is called "holy mountain and holy lake" by Tibetans, and is called "gangcuo" in Tibetan. Since ancient times, gangren Boqin and mapang yongcuo lake have been regarded as holy mountain and holy lake by Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Benjiao, and they are regarded as holy land and "World Center" by Buddhists and Bon believers. There are many temples and historic sites of various sects around the holy mountain and the holy lake. It is said that there are still some relics left when the venerable Milarepa and the benefactor narobon Qiong fought with each other in the early period of the struggle between Buddhism and benefactor. Kamiyama okarinpochin is a beacon in the hearts of pilgrims and a spiritual home for thousands of Buddhists. Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Benjiao all have a legend that turning around the mountain can wash away sins, which symbolizes purity and kindness. Therefore, turning around the mountain is the most common way for pilgrims from different places.
Xumi mountain, known as the center of the world in Buddhism, is said to be the ashram of Sakyamuni, the Buddha. In Hinduism, it is also the temple of the god Shiva. Most people think that it is just an imaginary place, a conceptual mountain, but it is actually a realistic mountain. It is recorded in the book of Tripitaka: nine mountains pass north from India, and there is "Daxueshan". This Daxueshan is gangrenboqin, the main peak of the Gangdise mountains, which stretches thousands of miles. It means "Baobao Xueshan" or "Xuesheng" in Tibetan, and is called "KAILAS" in India. Many mountain peaks in Tibet are deified and named as holy mountains, while gangrenboqin is regarded as the "king of holy mountains" by the four religions. Gung rinpochin, 6714 meters above sea level. It is said that "the shape of the mountain is like an olive, straight into the sky, the peak is like a colorful round crown, surrounded by eight petals of lotus, and the body of the mountain is like crystal. It is really a jade ice sculpture.". On the shrines of many believers in Tibet, most of them offer the photos of Kang rinpochin together with the Buddha statues. He is not only a symbol of natural beauty, but also a symbol of faith. It is said that when Sakyamuni was on earth, the gods, Bodhisattvas, gods, human beings, Asuras and musicians of heaven gathered around the holy mountain. It was the year of the horse. Therefore, the year of the horse became the standard year of okarinpochin. There are also legends about the year of the horse in Benbo, Hinduism and Jainism. In the 11th century, the Indian monk ADI gorge and his entourage came here on foot to worship the holy mountain. Suddenly, colorful clouds appeared in the blue sky and rushed to the mountain peak, revealing the Buddha's real body from time to time. Milarepa, the master of Tibetan Buddhism, also practiced, preached and fought in this place, adding a lot of magic to the holy mountain.
