Xiashui town

Xiashui township is located in the northeast of the county, at the junction of Naidong District in the East. The resident population is 3139 (2017). It has jurisdiction over four administrative villages. The township government is stationed in cuojie village. Places of interest include tangboche temple, etc.

Before 1987, it belonged to Jiuhe district. In November 1987, after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, it belonged to xiasui Township and tangbuqi Township respectively. In 1996, xiasui Township had a population of 17000 and governed four administrative villages, including riding, zhuosha, Qiangba and debulin; tangbuqi Township had a population of 14000 and governed four administrative villages, including cuoji, kunmai, tangbuqi and bendui.
