Tianchidian Township

Tianchidian township is one of the big towns in Loufan County, located in the south of Loufan County, 30 kilometers away from the county. The township is 30 kilometers long from east to west and about 10 kilometers long from north to south, with a total area of 168 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Gujiao town in the East, Lingzhong mountain and gujiaochakou town in the south, Miyu town in the west, Loufan town and dujiaoqu town in the north.

Natural overview

Tianchidian township is characterized by continuous mountains and ravines. There are three sides of mountains in the South and northwest, and an irregular rectangular basin in the middle. The Tianchi river flows into the Fenhe River from west to East after collecting eleven tributaries of the township. Lingzhong mountain, niangniangwa mountain and Shilou mountain form two natural barriers from west to East, forming the boundary of the township. The main peak of Lingzhong mountain is 1987 meters above sea level. Affected by geographical location and topography, the climate belongs to temperate continental climate, with an average temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius, an average annual rainfall of 430mm and a frost free period of 135 days. the main crops in the township are millet, corn, naked oats, yam, soybean, sunflower, flax, etc. the rural area is vast, with rich ground and underground resources, the development of agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry has very favorable conditions.
