Lengquan town
Lengquan town is subordinate to Mengzi City, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is located in the southwest of Mengzi City, 19 km away from the urban area of Mengzi city. It borders on Baimiao Township and Xinxian township of Pingbian Miao Autonomous County in the East, Shuitian Township in the south, north bank of Honghe River in the southwest, and faces Yuanyang and Jinping across the river. It borders LAOCHANG Town, Kafang town and Huangcaoba town of Gejiu City in the west, xin'ansuo town and Wenlan town in the north Contiguous.
It has jurisdiction over 8 villages with a total number of 4794 households and a permanent population of 21022 (in 2017), covering an area of 418.9 square kilometers.

Evolution of organizational system
Cold spring gets its name from its residence. Due to the low temperature of the nearby Sancha River, it is commonly known as lengshuigou, and later refined into a cold spring. in the second year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty (109 BC), it was under the jurisdiction of Bagu County, Yizhou county. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it belonged to Bingu County of Yizhou County, in the Three Kingdoms, it belonged to Bingu County of Xinggu County of Yizhou County, and in the two Jin Dynasties to the Southern Dynasties, it belonged to Bingu County of Xinggu County of ningzhou county. The Northern Zhou Dynasty belonged to Nanning. Sui belongs to Nanning Prefecture. At the beginning of Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Jiannan Daorong state, Nanzhao state of Tang Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Tonghai dudufu, and Dali state of Song Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Xiushan junmu. in the early Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Mengzi County along with the Ming system. in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the League Protection Bureau of Mengzi south district. In 1955, Lengquan was called the third district office. In 1958, it was changed into Lengquan commune. In 1968, it was changed into the Revolutionary Committee of Hongfeng commune. In May 1984, the county reformed the system of rural government and society integration, from Hongfeng commune to Lengquan district office. In 1987, Mengzi County carried out district and township system reform, abolished the Lengquan District Office and established Lengquan township. In May 2001, the township was replaced by Lengquan town.

Lengquan town is located in the southwest of Mengzi City, 19 kilometers away from the urban area of Mengzi city.
