Maguohe town

Maguohe town is located in the west of Malong City, 27 kilometers away from Malong city. It is adjacent to Wangjiazhuang town in the East, Jiuxian town in the south, Xundian County and Jiuxian town in the west, and Xundian County in the north. It is a low, middle and hilly Valley landform.

Before 1963, among the five offices in maguohe Town, maguohe office belonged to Zhongling District of Xundian County. In April 1963, 71 villages of six communes in Zhongling District of Xundian County, including maguohe, were under the jurisdiction of District 1 and District 4 of Malong county. The four offices of chezhang, Hejia village, Mayi and Lushi were under the jurisdiction of the former Malong District 3 (Wangjiazhuang) committee. Later, after the establishment of four district committees in Malong County, they were under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District Wangjiazhuang until August 1966. In August 1966, four district committees were abolished, 13 communes were set up, and the Qianwei (maguohe) commune of Malong county was established at the same time, with five brigades. In 1978, maguohe commune governed five brigades, namely maguohe, Mayi, chezhang, Hejia village and Lushi. The commune's party and government organs were stationed in maguohe village. In 1970, 13 communes were adjusted to 6 communes, and Wangjiazhuang Qianjin (jitoushu), Zhangjiatun and Qianwei (maguohe) were merged into Wangjiazhuang people's commune. In December 1972, the scale of the people's commune was adjusted. Wangjiazhuang was divided into Wangjiazhuang and zhangantun commune, and the organizational system of maguohe commune remained unchanged. In March 1984, the county village level system reform changed the name of maguohe commune to maguohe district. in January 1988, the district and township system was reformed and renamed maguohe town.
