Fumo mountain
Fumo mountain is located at the junction of yaoshangou, Heping Township, Bijiang District, Tongren City, Guizhou Province and Dapeng River, Niulang Town, Songtao Miao Autonomous County. Three kilometers away from Niulang town and 30 kilometers away from Tongren City, dapengxi village is located at the foot of Fumo mountain. Fumo mountain has a long history. It was founded in Tianqi period of Ming Dynasty (1621-1627), and has a history of nearly 400 years. The first ancestor of the temple was a monk in Yinming town. It is said that he was entrusted by the white tiger to start the mountain. Later, in memory of the founder of the mountain, the statue of monk Ming was chiseled on the stone wall of Fumo mountain. Some later generations chiseled away the stone statue, and soon the stone wall appeared again, which was particularly magical. Today, a stone statue is still clearly visible on the stone wall. The Fumo Temple site, located on the top of Fumo mountain, covers an area of 400 square meters and was rebuilt in 1842. The gate of the mountain has the four characters of "Yunshan Duxiu". The gate sits south and North. After entering the gate, it goes up along the stone steps. On the East and west mountain top, there is a courtyard building, which is composed of main hall, back hall and wing room. The building area is 200 square meters. On the west mountain top, there are two small temples, both of which are built with local materials. Fumo mountain is 750 meters above sea level. It is higher than the surrounding mountains. It seems to be high into the clouds. It has beautiful mountains and clear waters and a hundred Li radius. She is the only one who shows off. Therefore, it has the reputation of being the only one in Yunshan. On the incomplete inscription of Fumo mountain, it can be seen: "you Shan Yan, named Fumo, has two streams around the knee and two pillars holding the sky. The pulse comes from Fanjing. The mountains are green and the valleys are rich. There are hundreds of acres of good farmland and thousands of hectares of Tung tea under it. There are six turns in the left League, and their feelings are as good as those of Ye. Everyone who has had his capital is envious. This mountain is Fumo mountain. Shuangxi is Dapeng River and waixi (Yaoshan Valley). Jinding of Fumo mountain is divided into two parts, and the gate is the bridge connecting the two peaks, which is very similar to Fanjing Mountain. It is a miniature Fanjing Mountain, and the little Fanjing Mountain is not enough. Jinding of Fanjing Mountain is more than 2400 meters above sea level, with low temperature and scarce soil, so it is difficult for vegetation to grow. On the contrary, Jinding of Fumo mountain is more vigorous than Jinding of Fanjing Mountain. Fumo mountain is 750 meters above sea level, with suitable temperature and thick soil layer, which is suitable for vegetation growth. Originally, it was lush and luxuriant, with towering ancient trees and countless exotic flowers and plants. For half a century, it has been smashed, cut, dug and burned by lawless elements, and now it has been completely destroyed. After the temple was built in Fumo mountain, it was destroyed many times. The last reconstruction was in the summer of 1842. Today, the gate is well preserved, and the word "Yunshan Duxiu" on the gate is still as clear as ever. After the land reform in 1950, the monks of Fumo mountain were forced to return home, and the heaven and earth of the original Temple belonged to the people. In the 1970s, education and construction were promoted at the foot of Fumo mountain, so they went up to Fumo mountain to demolish temples and cut down trees. Later, the people at the foot of the mountain also cut down trees spontaneously. In less than half a year, Fumo mountain has become a bare and empty mountain, and the thousand year old trees of Fumo mountain have been destroyed. In 2009, Fumo mountain suffered another devastating fire. The fire has burned to the top of the mountain. In the history of Fumo mountain, the vegetation of ancient ginseng is very rich, and it has never suffered a fire. Since 2001, in response to the state's policy of returning farmland to forests, the government has been working under the Fumo mountain
