Agang Town, belonging to Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the southwest of Zhijin County, bordering xiongjiachang town in the East, Baini town in the south, Xinhua Township in Liuzhi special zone of Liupanshui City in the southwest and West, Jichang Miao and Yi Township in the northwest, Santang town in the North, and Shaopu town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 101.1 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to duzexi; in November 1992, it was withdrawn from the district and set up Agong town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town of archbow was 41221. As of June 2020, Agong town has jurisdiction over 7 communities and 12 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Shangzhai community.
