Qinglin Township, located in Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, belongs to the poverty-stricken area of "one mountain and one river" in Liupanshui City. Historical evolution
Before 1941, it was under the jurisdiction of Dafang County, and later under the jurisdiction of Nayong County. After the land reform in early 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of the Kunqu District of Nayong County. At that time, there were pig farm Township, duodugong Township, and Xinzhai township. In June 1962, the township was renamed commune, and the three townships were merged as "red flag commune". In January 1963, the red flag commune was divided into three communes, and in April 1965, the three communes were merged as red flag commune. In January 1972, the whole district was restored to eight communes, and now the district is divided into three communes again. In 1984, the party and government were separated. The commune was renamed Township, and the brigade was changed into village. It continued until the end of the construction and withdrawal in early 1992. The three townships of zixinxin, Zhuchang and Xinzhai are the Miao and Yi townships in Qinglin. They have 13 village committees, 96 villager groups and 95 natural villages.
In July 2020, the State Council officially approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Liupanshui City, and decided to put Qinglin Miao and Yi township of Shuicheng County under the jurisdiction of Zhongshan District of Liupanshui City.

The soil of the township is mostly yellow soil and sandy soil, with a cultivated land area of 10751.6 mu, including 10708.6 mu of soil and 43 mu of farmland. The woodlands are mainly longjingkou forest, caofenshang forest and huangnipo forest farm, and the project of returning farmland to woodland of 3356 is 5300 mu, with about 4000 mu of grassland resources. The ratio between them is 1:0.5:0.3. The cultivated land is distributed in the valley between the mountains on the half slope, the forest land is distributed in the hillside and hilly area, and the grassland is distributed around the top of the mountain. There are only coal and a small amount of low-grade antimony, iron, zinc and other minerals in the township, which are mainly agricultural, mainly producing corn, potatoes, flue-cured tobacco and other crops. Flue cured tobacco is the main economic crop. Over the past few years, science and technology has been popularized in agriculture. The planting area of corn is 9500 mu, soybean is 7800 mu, malingshu is 9800 mu, and flue-cured tobacco is 2000 mu. In 1995, the total grain output reached 3000 tons, and the total output value was 130000 yuan. Animal husbandry developed rapidly, the advantages of mountainous areas were brought into play, and the number of black goats and live pigs increased year by year. Water conservancy projects include the largest Hongqi reservoir in the county, with a storage capacity of 2703 cubic meters, and two irrigation projects, Dongkou and SHECHANG, which were started in 1995. Individual industry and commerce, cottage industry, transportation, agricultural and sideline products processing industry are developing rapidly, with about 1500 employees. The bamboo products of lemiying are exported to Shuicheng. There are 4 red tractors, 10 carriages and 3 brick cellars in the township.
