Laoyingshan street belongs to Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the east of Liupanshui Central District, 23 kilometers away from the central district. It is known as the "East Gate" of Zhongshan District. The total area of the street is about 61 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 1 administrative village and 6 neighborhood committees. The total population is 44321 and the total number of households is 13128, including 25512 urban residents, 8160 households, 18809 agricultural residents and 4968 households. The landform is mainly medium and high, with an altitude of 1750-2200m. The territory has a humid climate, with an average annual rainfall of 1239.9mm, an average annual temperature of 12.30c, a frost free period of 235 days, no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer.
In July 2019, Guizhou Provincial People's government agreed to adjust the administrative division of Laoyingshan street.
Historical change
Laoyingshan street is located in the middle of Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province (originally belonging to Wanquan township of Shuicheng District). There are many peaks in Muqiao village, among which there are three peaks. The slightly higher mountain in the middle looks like an eagle's head to the sky, while the slightly lower two look like an eagle's wings. Laoyingshan is named after it.
Laoyingshan street was under the jurisdiction of the bottom water of xuanweisi in Guizhou in Ming Dynasty. The Qing Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of changpingli, Shuicheng hall, Dading Prefecture, Guizhou Province. During the period of the Republic of China, it was mainly under the jurisdiction of Dongguan and Wanquan townships in Shuicheng district. When the town was established in 1953, it was mostly under the jurisdiction of Lanba district (town) in Shuicheng district (special zone).
In October 1966, the state planned to build a coal mine in Wanquan township (commune) of Shuicheng County. Under the name of "Laoyingshan" in the territory, it built a large-scale coal mine and a supporting Laoyingshan Coal Preparation Plant, forming a small and comprehensive mining area.
In 1982, the original Shuicheng special zone set aside Dashu, Daqiao, Jianshan, lujiaba, Zhongpo and Xingfu villages of Wanquan commune and Baini commune to establish Laoyingshan Town, which was abolished in 1984.
In March 1987, Zhongshan District and Shuicheng County were set up separately. In September 1988, Laoyingshan town in Zhongshan District was established.
In September 2001, the former two towns of Laoyingshan and Guanyinshan were merged to re-establish Laoyingshan town. With a total area of 63.38 square kilometers, the town governs seven administrative villages, including lujiaba, shibanhe, Muqiao, Zhongpo, Shihe, Guanyinshan, renhedong, 11 neighborhood committees and 40 villager groups.
On May 21, 2013, Guizhou provincial government agreed to put the renovation system of Laoyingshan town in Zhongshan District under the jurisdiction of Shuicheng County. The original administrative region and government residence of Laoyingshan town remained unchanged, and the administrative boundary of Zhongshan District and Shuicheng County was changed accordingly.
On June 4, 2015, the provincial government (qianfuhan 129) approved the cancellation of Laoyingshan town and the establishment of Laoyingshan street in Shuicheng County.
In July 2019, Guizhou Provincial People's government agreed to adjust the administrative division of Laoyingshan street, and Xinye community participated in the formation of Xinqiao street.

In 2020, Laoyingshan Street governs laokuang neighborhood committee, Laoxuan neighborhood committee, Zhongpo neighborhood committee, Muqiao neighborhood committee, lujiaba neighborhood committee, Shihe neighborhood committee and shibanhe village, and the neighborhood office is located in Shihe neighborhood committee.

Laoyingshan street is located in an industrial and mining area. There are more than ten large and medium-sized enterprises and institutions, including Shuicheng Iron and steel (Group) Jinhe company, Guanyinshan mining branch, Guanyinshan cement company, dolomite mine, Liupanshui Xinyuan company, Liupanshui Jialian lead zinc Development Co., Ltd., Xiaohe cement plant, Lanba oil depot, etc. Qisheng, Changxing, Daqi, Tailong and other large enterprises to attract investment settled in the jurisdiction. The territory has convenient traffic conditions, extending in all directions. Guikun railway and Zhuzhou Liupanshui double line cross the East and West, shuina highway and Guiyan highway cross the territory, and village roads are connected.

Laoyingshan street is higher in the north and south, and lower in the East and West. The highest elevation is 2205 meters, and the lowest is about 1700 meters. The general elevation difference is 130-200 meters, and the maximum relative elevation difference is about 485 meters. It belongs to the denudation and erosion area of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau. The climate is very cold. It belongs to the warm and humid zone in Northwest Guizhou. It is wet in summer and dry in spring. There is no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer. The annual average temperature is 12.2 ℃, the highest temperature is 31.3 ℃, and the lowest temperature is minus 10.7 ℃. The annual average rainfall is about 1240 mm and the frost free period is 243 days.

Laoyingshan street traffic in all directions, Dayan highway, shuina highway through the town, Guikun railway, Laoyingshan Coal Mine and Shuigang special railway across the whole territory, every village road. There are abundant tourism resources, such as Shihe scenic spot in the west of the town, the "Magic Cave labyrinth" cave in Muqiao village in the north, and Guanyin Mountain Peaks in the south of the town.
There are dabaiya karst gorge, abandoned combat readiness oil depot group "Nine Star array", Shihe reservoir, natural Rhododendron forest, Shida mountain, Yinhe cave, mountain grassland, sloping pasture, abandoned mine cave site of Qing Dynasty and other scenic spots. There are many bamboo buildings (pavilions) and nearly 1000 mu red pomegranate cultivation. The scenic spot is 20 kilometers away from Liupanshui City. It not only has a unique natural landscape, but also can feel the industrial civilization It is a good place for holiday, summer, leisure and entertainment.
