Yuyang District is a town (area) under the jurisdiction of Pinggu District of Beijing, located in the South and west of the district. Historical evolution

Chengguan town was established in 1953, Chengguan commune in 1958, township in 1984 and Pinggu town in 1990. In 1996, it covers an area of 28.6 square kilometers and has a population of 74000. It governs 14 administrative villages and old cities, including yuegezhuang, xilujiao, donglujiao, shangzhizhai, yuantiandui, Shengli Street, Zhaogezhuang, xisiqu, dongsiqu, Taiping Street, Heping Street, xiazhizhai, Pingan street, beitaitou, Shengli, Xinping, Jianbei, Jiannan, Jianxi, Xiangyang, Xingfu, Fuqian, culture, paradise, Nanyi and Nanyi 2、 There are 15 neighborhood committees in Binhe and Chengxi.
