Dacong town
Dacong town is a town under the jurisdiction of Huidong County, Sichuan Province. Established in August 2015.
In August 2015, according to the spirit of "Sichuan Provincial People's government's reply on approving Huidong County to adjust some township administrative divisions" (cfzm [2014] No. 15 and cfzm [2015] No. 5), Huidong County carried out a new round of township administrative division adjustment based on the principle of "coordinating urban and rural reform, improving administrative efficiency and reducing administrative cost". The official reply agreed to abolish Dacong Township and heiga Township and establish Dacong Town, which governs the administrative areas of Dacong Township and heiga Township, and the town people's government is stationed in Chongxing village.
