Zhatao Township
Zhatao township is under the jurisdiction of Daofu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Zatuo township was established in 1960, changed into a commune in 1966, and resumed in 1984.
Zhatao township is located in the south of the county, 70 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 146.35 square kilometers and has a population of 1457 (2017). There are Township, village roads and ya (Jiang) Road (Fu) road connected. It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely bolotang, yidiwazi, Luogu, zagong and zatuo. Zhatao Township mainly produces wheat, highland barley and potato. Chinese prickly ash, Auricularia auricula, fungi and wild medicinal materials. The territory is rich in crystal minerals.
