Puxi Township
Puxi township is a township under the jurisdiction of Rangtang County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The name of the township comes from Xiaopu village and Xidu village. Puxi township is located in the south of the county, 60.8 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 1162.49 square kilometers and has a population of 2258 (2017). National Highway 317 passes through. It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely, Xiao Yi Li, Da Yi Li, you ri, Pu Xi and Si Yue Wu.

Puxi Township mainly produces wheat, highland barley, pea, broad bean, corn and potato. Cattle, horses and sheep are the main animal husbandry. Produce apple, peach, walnut, pear, pepper.
Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to dou'ao and Xidong villages in Ninghai County. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Yongfeng Township. When Sanmen County was established in 1940, it was still called Yongfeng Township. In 1949, after liberation, it was established as Xidong Township, belonging to liuao district. In 1950, it was divided into three townships: Xidong, Shepan and taotou. In 1956, the three townships of Xidong, taotou, Shepan and Gangyan village of shangao were merged to form Puxi Township, where the Township People's government was stationed. In 1958, Puxi township was abolished and changed into Puxi administrative area, belonging to liuao (District) people's commune. In 1961, liuao (District) people's commune disintegrated, and Puxi people's commune was established in Puxi Management District, which belongs to Jiantiao district. In 1962, Jiantiao district was abolished and the commune was transferred to the county directly under the central government. On October 26, 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Puxi people's commune was established. In 1973, the working group of liuao district was established, and the commune was returned to China. In July 1981, it was changed into the Management Committee of Puxi people's commune, under the jurisdiction of liuao district office. In 1983, the people's Government of Puxi township was rebuilt. In May 1992, when the district was withdrawn to expand the town and the township was merged, it was merged into liuao town. In addition to the three villages of huangnidong, piedmont and piedmont in Shepan Island, three villages of shaoting, Zhongnan and pengba were added to establish Shepan township.
