Yulong Township
Yulong Township, affiliated to Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the middle of Anyue County, and it is adjacent to hengmiao Township in the East, Xiehe Township in the south, Xinglong Town in the west, Qianlong Township in the north and Yongqing town in the northeast. The total area of the district is 22.62 square kilometers.
As of october2019, Yulong has eight administrative villages in rural areas. By the end of 2018, 10223 people had registered residence in the village. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Yulong township was 72.9 million yuan, and the total sales of social goods was 20.6 million yuan.
In december2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to cancel Yulong Township and Qianlong Township, and establish Qianlong Town, with the administrative region of the original Yulong Township and the original Qianlong township as the administrative region of Qianlong town.
Historical evolution
It is named for Yulongshan in China.
In December 1954, Yulong township was set up.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Xinglong commune.
In March 1961, Yulong commune was set up.
In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In december2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to cancel Yulong Township and Qianlong Township, and establish Qianlong Town, with the administrative region of the original Yulong Township and the original Qianlong township as the administrative region of Qianlong town.
