Jinghe town
Jinghe Town, belonging to Hejian City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Hejian county. Jinghe Town, the seat of the town government, is 32.7 kilometers to the east by south of the seat of the county government. The town borders Cangxian County in the East, Xianxian County in the south, liminju and xiliuzhuang Township in the north, Ziyaxinhe, shaheqiao town and Guxian Township in the West. In March 1984, it was renamed Township, and in July of the same year, it was rebuilt into town. By the end of 2019, Jinghe town has jurisdiction over 29 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In the early Ming Dynasty, sun and Liu cousins moved from Shanxi and built their village on the Bank of Heilonggang River, beside the ancient Chaohai temple and Yuexian bridge (the existing site).
