Wuling township is located on the East Bank of Jialing River, bordering Chaijing, SAIJIN and other towns in Yilong County, which is an old revolutionary base. Wuling Township, the old revolutionary base area of Sichuan and Shaanxi, is located in the easternmost part of southern county of Sichuan Province, more than 50 kilometers away from the county seat. It is 20km away from Yilong new County, facing SAIJIN town of Yilong County in the East, Guoshan township of Yilong County in the south, Chaijing township of Yilong County in the West and Sanqing township of Nanbu County in the north. By the end of 2003, it had jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages and 118 villager groups, mainly Han nationality. It has a subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Wuling township has been vigorously developing the four traditional pillar industries of live pig, sericulture (which is the base township of the city and county), labor export and small poultry. The T-shaped bridge rainwater harvesting and irrigation saving project with an investment of 340000 yuan has been launched, and the reconstruction of grade D dangerous buildings in township primary schools has been started. The township publicity and cultural center has developed 500 CCTV users.
