Haqu Township

Haqu township is under the jurisdiction of Ebian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. In 1952, it was renamed Kexiang, Shunhe Township in 1960, Shunhe commune in 1966, haqu commune in 1981 and haqu Township in 1984. Located in the southwest of the county, 53 kilometers away from the county. E (Bian) Mei (GU) highway crosses the countryside. It has jurisdiction over three village committees. Geography

Haqu township is a Yi inhabited township. Its name is haqu (Yi: Yudong), which is named for the rich production of wild fish in Daheba, where the township government is located. Haqu township is located in the southwest of the county, 52 kilometers away from the county. It connects Wanping Township in the southeast, Lewu Township in the southwest, Heizhugou town in the northwest, and Jinyan Township in the northeast. The x149 line passes through the county. Haqu township is located in Guanliao River Valley, with mountains on both sides of the north and West. The altitude is 1100-3906m, the average annual temperature is 13.1 ℃, the average annual precipitation is 1000-1500mm, and the frost free period is 254 days. The township covers an area of 145 square kilometers, with overlapping landforms and mountains, crisscross valleys, high mountains and steep slopes, and little arable land.
