JIANMENGUAN town
JIANMENGUAN Town, located in the northern edge of Sichuan Basin, is subordinate to Jiange County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. In the north of Jiange County, it borders Zhangwang town and Gaoguan town in the East, Hanyang town in the South and West, Xiasi town and Zhaohua District in the north. It covers an area of 131.93 square kilometers and governs 2 communities and 14 administrative villages with a total population of 14872 (2017).
It was called Jiange in the Shu Han Dynasty, JIANMENGUAN in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and Dajian Town, Jianmen County in the second year of Emperor Wu Zetian's holy calendar (699) and Jianmen County in the 20th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1283). Jianmen post, jianyibao and Anren Township were established in the Qing Dynasty. Jianmen township was set up in the Republic of China. In 1985, JIANMENGUAN township was set up and renamed JIANMENGUAN town in 1992.
National Highway 108 runs through the north and south, and JIANMENGUAN scenic spot, a national 5A scenic spot, is located in the territory. It has the reputation of "North Sichuan barrier, throat of Sichuan and Sichuan", "Jianmen world danger" and "gateway of Sichuan".
JIANMENGUAN town is a health town in Guangyuan City, a key town in Sichuan Province, a demonstration town of beautiful environment in Sichuan Province, the first batch of pilot towns of "hundred towns construction action" in Sichuan Province, a national civilized town, a national ecological town, a small town with characteristics of the 13th five year plan in Sichuan Province, and the first batch of provincial forest towns.
In April 2020, it will be rated as the advanced township in implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy in Sichuan Province in 2019.
On May 7, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Cangxi County and other three counties (cfgm [2020] No. 1): Gaoguan town was abolished, the administrative areas of Gaoguan town and Tianqiao village of Hanyang town were put under the jurisdiction of JIANMENGUAN Town, and the people's Government of JIANMENGUAN town was stationed at 169 Xiongguan Avenue, Xiongguan community.
History of construction
In 699, Jianmen county was newly established in Pu'an County, Yonggui county and Yinping County, belonging to Shizhou (governing Pu'an County, now Pu'an town). In the second year of Xianxian (713) of Tang Dynasty, Shizhou was changed to Jianzhou, which was named Jiange. Jianmen County belonged to Jianzhou.
In the Sui and Tang Dynasties, military buildings were set up in Jianmen pass, and the pass order was set up in Dajian town (Zhidi Jianmen field).
In 967, Yonggui county was incorporated into Jianmen county. In the second year of Jingde (1005), Jianmen county was subordinate to the capital of Jianmen pass. Jingde three years (1006), JIANMENGUAN Zhili capital, to the Tokyo garrison. In the fifth year of Xining (1072), JIANMENGUAN and Jianmen county were divided into two, both of which were subordinate to Jianzhou. In Yuan Fu, Jianmen pass was subordinate to Jianmen County, and the county magistrate was in charge of the pass affairs. In the third year of Baoyou's reign (1255), the Mongolian army attacked Shu, and Longqing mansion (Jianzhou was promoted) was moved to kuzhu Village (now Zhujia village, JIANMENGUAN town).
From the Yuan Dynasty to the 20th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1283), Longqing Prefecture was changed into Jianzhou, and Jianmen county was merged into Pu'an County (now Pu'an town).
In the 31th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Jianmen pass was abolished; in the 21th year of Jiajing (1542), Jianmen pass was reestablished and 100 households were stationed.
Jianmen post was built in Qing Dynasty. In Yongzheng period, Jianzhou had three townships, Jianmen Township and four Jia townships.
In 1872, Jianzhou was changed to 13 Bao, and jianyibao (zhijianmenguan) was set up.
In the second year of Xuantong (1910), Anren township was set up. Jianyibao and guang'anbao were administrated. Anren Township and jianyibao Tongzhi Jianmen.
In 1912, Jianmen Prefecture was established.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Jianzhou was changed into Jiange county and Jianmen county was set up.
In 1914, Jianmen county and Anren Township were abolished, jianyibao was changed into jianyituan, and Jiange county was established.
In 1930, the regiment was changed into a district and Jianyi district was established.
In April 1935, the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army set up the Jianmen Township Soviet in Jianmen. In the autumn of the same year (1935), Jianyi, Tiren and Yunping districts merged into the Sixth District (zhijianmen), under which there were joint guarantees and joint guarantees.
In August 1940, the new county system was implemented, the joint insurance system was abolished, and Jianmen town was established.
In October 1946, Jianmen township was under the jurisdiction of the third district.

In 1984, Hanyang District moved to jianmenchang.
In January 1985, Jianmen township was changed to Jianmen town.
In 1989, Hanyang District was renamed Jianmen District, covering a total area of 325.9 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over Jianmen Town, 2 towns of Hanyang town and 2 towns of Xiaojian Township and chaoshou Township, with a total of 40 villages and 280 groups.
In 1992, Jianmen District Office was demolished and Jianmen town was changed into JIANMENGUAN town.
In June 2006, Jiange County abolished the "district" supervision office system, and JIANMENGUAN town was directly under Jiange county.
