Dunshang Township

Dunshang Township, located in the west of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, is adjacent to Yuli town in the East, Chaping Township in Anzhou District in the south, Dongxing Township in Maoxian County in Aba Prefecture in the West and Badi Township in the north. The township covers an area of 61.8 square kilometers, ranking third in the county. Dunshang Township governs 1 community, 5 administrative villages and 15 villager groups, with a total of 1766 people (2017). Dunshang township has convenient transportation. Provincial highway 302 and dunqing road meet here and pass through the territory. It is close to Jiuzhai and Huanglong, and is also the only way to Xiaozhaizigou. The famous Qianfo Mountain natural scenic spot and Qianfo Mountain battle site are located in its territory, forming unique tourism resources.
