Wulong Township
Wulong Township, subordinate to Wuxi County, Chongqing, is located in the northern edge of Wuxi County, adjacent to Yulin Township in the East, maoerbei National Forest Farm in the south, Chengkou County in the west, Huaping Township in Zhenping county, Shaanxi Province in the north. It is 69 kilometers away from the residence of Wuxi county government, with a total area of 152.12 square kilometers.
During the Qing Dynasty, Wulong Township belonged to Jiujia, Shimenli, Daning County; in March 1983, it was changed from Wulong commune to Wulong township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Wulong township was 7970. As of June 2020, Wulong rural has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in the Longevity Palace.

History of construction
In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Jiujia of Shimenli in Daning County.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Tongcan Township, the Second District of Wuxi County.
After December 1949, it belongs to the Fifth District of Wuxi County.
In March 1953, the original six villages were merged to form the fish scale commune.
In June 1961, Wulong commune was set up from Yulin commune.
In March 1983, Wulong commune was changed into Wulong township.
In October 2005, Gaozhu township was merged into Wulong township.
