Longqiao Tujia Township
Longqiao Tujia Township, which belongs to Fengjie County of Chongqing, is located in the south of Fengjie County and the junction of Chongqing and Hubei. It borders Xinglong town of Fengjie County in the East and south, and Banqiao Town of Enshi City in Hubei Province in the West and North. It is 54.3 kilometers away from the residence of Fengjie County Government, with a total area of 113.56 square kilometers.
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Longqiao Tujia Township belongs to Nan'an Duli; in April 2001, it was changed from Longqiao township to Longqiao Tujia township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Tujia Township in the long bridge was 11448. As of June 2020, Longqiao Tujia township has jurisdiction over one community, five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Ruifeng community group 1.
In Longqiao Tujia Township, corn and potato are the main food crops, and pig, cattle, sheep and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in Longqiao Tujia Township, including one above scale and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Longqiao Tujia township is named after Longqiao river.
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it belongs to the south bank.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to hanba township.
In the eighth year of the Republic of China (1919), the army and the government were integrated, belonging to the Shanzi general regiment. In 1930, it belonged to Shanzi township. In 1933, it belonged to Shaner township. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it belonged to the third district of Shaner Lianbao (zhuhan dam). In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the new county system was implemented, belonging to Xinglong Township. In 1941, it belonged to Hanrui township.
After 1949, it belongs to Hanrui Township, Chaoyang District.
In September 1953, Hanrui township was divided into Hanrui Township, Huangjin Township and Longqiao Township, belonging to the Tenth District.
In December 1955, it belonged to Hanrui township of Xingjiang district (the former Hanrui and Huangjin Township were merged) and Longqiao township.
In January 1958, Hanrui Township and Longqiao Township were withdrawn to establish communes.
In October 1983, Hanrui commune and Longqiao commune were changed into Hanrui Township and Longqiao Township respectively.
In September 1992, Longqiao township was merged into Hanrui township.
In October 1995, Longqiao township was reset.
In April 2001, Longqiao township was withdrawn and Longqiao Tujia township was established.
In July 2004, Hanrui township was merged into Longqiao Tujia township.
