Jiagao town
Jiagao Town, subordinate to Fengjie County of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Fengjie County, adjacent to Anping town in the East, Qinglong Town and Wuma town in the southeast, Tuxiang town in the south, Yangshi town in the southwest and West, Yunyang County in the northwest and North, Anping town in the northeast. It is 30.6km away from Fengjie County Government, with a total area of 181.02km2.
In the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, Jiagao town was located in the South Bank of dalibajia; in September 1992, Jiagao and Hezuo Township merged to build Jiagao town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 40085. As of June 2020, Jiagao town has 3 communities and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Jiagao town is located in Wenchang palace of Longshan community.
The main food crops in Jiagao town are corn, sweet potato, rice, potato and wheat; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Jiagao town had 2 industrial enterprises and 24 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it was the Bajia in the south bank.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to anpingyi township.
In the eighth year of the Republic of China (1919), it belonged to the "a" group. In 1930, it belonged to Jiazi township. In 1935, it was a joint insurance. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to Jiazi township; in August of the same year, it was changed to Jiagao Township and stationed in Jinjia temple. In 1941, it belonged to Jiagao and Daya townships in the fourth district. In 1942, Daya township was renamed Gaoya township.
After 1949, Anping District is a high, elegant township.
In November 1958, Jiagao township was changed into Jiagao commune.
In October 1983, Jiagao commune was changed into Jiagao township.
In September 1992, Jiagao and Hezuo Township merged to build Jiagao town.
In November 1997, Longshan community was established.
In October 1999, the joint venture township was re established.
In July 2004, joint venture, elegant and Huangsi Township were merged into Jiagao town.
