Quma town
Quma Town, subordinate to Yunyang County, Chongqing, is located in the northwest of Yunyang County, on the North Bank of Pengxi River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. It is adjacent to Gaoyang town in the East, Yanglu Township in the south, Jinfeng Township in Kaizhou District in the west, and Shuanglong town in the North. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, quma town was located in Baiyan Xiajia, Baiyan township; in September 1992, quma Township and Shuangshui Township merged to establish quma town. History of construction
At the end of Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to Baiyan Xiajia in Baiyan township.
In January 1953, Baiyan township was divided into six townships: Huilong, Longdong, quma, Shuanghe, Jinfeng and Yulong.

In October 1958, quma township was changed into quma commune.
In March 1984, quma commune was changed into quma township.
