Baoluan Town, subordinate to Fengdu County, Chongqing City, is located in the southeast of Fengdu County, adjacent to xiannuhu town in the East, Damu Township in Fuling District in the south, Luoyun Township in the west, zhanpu town and Sanhe Town in the north. It is 22 kilometers away from Fengdu county government, with a total area of 175.63 square kilometers.
In the early Qing Dynasty, baoluan town belonged to Jiujia on the south bank; in 1992, baoluan town was changed from baoluan township to baoluan town. As of June 2020, baoluan town has one community and 12 administrative villages, and the people's Government of baoluan town is located at 126 Tongshan Road, Longjing community.

History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Jiujia on the south bank; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shunqing Township, and the Township Office was located in baoluanchang.
In 1947, baoluan township was established.
In 1953, baoluan township was divided into baoluan, Xinquan, Gonghe and Xinting.
In 1955, Xinquan Township, Gonghe Township, Xinting Township and Xintai Township were merged into baoluan township.
In 1958, baoluan commune was established in baoluan township.
In 1983, baoluan commune was restored to baoluan township.
In 1992, baoluan township was changed to baoluan town.
