Jiulongshan town
Jiulongshan Town, subordinate to Kaizhou District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest corner of Kaizhou district. It is adjacent to Zheng'an street in the East, Zhuxi town in the south, Zhonghe town and sanhuikou town in the west, dunhao town and Tianhe town in the north, and 28 km away from the people's Government of Kaizhou District, with a total area of 135 square kilometers.
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Jiulongshan town was the old Jiujia town of Jiulongshan in Jiangli; in October 1992, it was changed from Jiulongshan town to Jiulongshan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Kowloon town was 53997. As of June 2020, there are 2 communities and 17 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Jiulongshan Town, and the people's Government of Jiulongshan town is located in Longxiang community.
In 2018, there were 18 industrial enterprises and 82 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Jiulongshan town.
History of construction
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it was the old Jiujia of Jiulongshan in Jiangli.
In 1935, the old Jiujia of Longshan was changed to Jiulongshan joint protection, belonging to the Second District of Kaizhou district. In 1938, Longshan joint protection was divided into dongliba joint protection and xiliba joint protection, which was changed into three districts of Kaizhou district. In 1940, dongliba and xiliba were merged into Jiulong township.
In June 1953, Jiulong township was divided into nine small townships.
In May 1956, Jiulong, Dongba, Qingyun and Qingyou were merged into Jiulongshan township.
In August 1958, Jiulongshan township was renamed Jiulongshan United.
In August 1959, it was changed into Kowloon commune, belonging to Linjiang district.
In August 1981, Jiulong commune was renamed Jiulong Mountain commune.
In May 1984, Jiulongshan commune was changed into Jiulongshan township.
In October 1992, it was changed from Jiulongshan township to Jiulongshan Town, and Dongba township was merged into Jiulongshan town.
In August 2005, tianbai township was merged into Jiulongshan town.

By the end of 2011, Jiulongshan town had 1 community in Longxiang, 17 administrative villages in woyun, Chaoyang, Sihe, Dashan, Sanyi, Shuangcheng, Xinzhai, tianbai, Qingshi, Longxing, Dongba, Feidian, Guangfo, Shuanghe, Qingyun, Renhe and Qilin, 5 resident groups and 101 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Jiulongshan town has 2 communities and 17 administrative villages: Longxiang community, Hexing community, Longxing village, Dongba village, MODIAN village, Guangfo village, Shuanghe village, Qingyun village, Renhe Village, Qilin village, Xinzhai village, tianbai village, Qingshi village, Sanyi village, Shuangcheng village, woyun village, Chaoyang village, Sihe village and Dashan Village. The town people's government is stationed in Longxiang community.
