Dajin town
Dajin Town, subordinate to Kaizhou District of Chongqing, is located in the north of Kaizhou District, connecting Tanjia town in the East, Heqian town in the south, Zishui Township, Maliu Township, Xuanhan County of Sichuan Province in the west, and manyue Township in the north. It is 60 kilometers away from the people's Government of Kaizhou District, with a total area of 251 square kilometers.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, Dajin town belonged to Baqu County; in April 1985, it was changed from Dajin township to Dajin town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 45923. As of June 2020, Dajin town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 17 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Dajin town is located at 47 zhajing street.
In 2018, Dajin town had 40 industrial enterprises and 68 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, it belonged to Baqu county.
Tang Zhenyuan (785-805) was a WANSUI county.
In 1930, tanzha township was built together with tanjiaba. In 1941, it was divided with tanjiaba Township and set up Dajin township.
In August 1958, Dajin township was changed into Dajin commune.
In October 1983, it was changed from Dajin commune to Dajin township.
In April 1985, it was changed from Dajin township to Dajin town.
In August 2005, three townships of Zitong, Guanping and Hongyuan were merged into Dajin town.

The river in Dajin town belongs to Xiaojiang River system. Donghe River enters the country from Cuihu village at the junction of manyue Township, and then enters Tanjia town. The river is 18 kilometers long. Baqu river runs through the territory from the north and flows into Donghe river at the mouth of Zha well in Nianhua village, with a length of 10 km.
