Erping town
Erping Town, subordinate to Tongliang District of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Tongliang District, adjacent to Jiuxian street in the East, Dongcheng Street in the south, Shuikou Town in the West and Zhangqiao town in Hechuan District in the north. It is 19 kilometers away from the residence of Tongliang District People's government, with a total area of 25.61 square kilometers.
In 1772, erlangchang was built in Erping town; in January 1994, it was changed from Erping township to Erping town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of two Ping towns was 13939. As of June 2020, Erping town has one community and six administrative villages, and the people's Government of Erping town is stationed at No. 100, Jiaotong street, Xinglong community.
In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in Erping Town, including one above scale and 56 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1772, erlangchang was built in Erping town.
In 1919, it belonged to Simi Township, Tongliang district. In 1935, Erlang township was established, belonging to the first district.
After 1949, it belongs to the second district (old county).
In April 1958, Erlang township was rebuilt into Erlang commune.
In December 1978, Erlang commune was renamed Changping commune.
In June 1983, Changping commune was changed into Erlang township.
In March 1984, Erlang township was renamed Erping township.
In January 1994, Erping township was changed into Erping town.
