Qinggang street, belonging to Bishan District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Bishan district. It is adjacent to Jinfeng Town, Zouma town and Jinfu town of Jiulongpo District in the East, Laifeng street in the south, Daxing Town in the West and Biquan street in the north. It is 15km away from the residence of Bishan people's government, with a maximum distance of 7.7km from east to west and 6.3km from north to south, with a total area of 46.5km.
Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Qinggang street belongs to Laifeng post; in December 2003, seven villages of Qinggang Town, Laifeng town and Shizi town were merged and changed into Qinggang street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Qinggang street was 40502. As of June 2020, Qinggang street has jurisdiction over 7 communities and 6 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 225 middle street of Dazi community.

History of construction
Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belongs to Laifeng post.
After December 1, 1949, it belongs to the third district.
In April 1951, Qinggang township was established from Fengxiang township.
In October 1952, roadside township was merged into Qinggang township.
In September 1958, it belonged to Laifeng commune and was under the management of Qinggang.
In February 1961, Laifeng commune established Qinggang commune.
In February 1978, Zhongxing commune was merged into Qinggang commune.
In March 1980, Qinggang commune established Zhongxing commune.
In January 1984, Qinggang commune was changed into Qinggang township.
In December 1993, Qinggang Township and Zhongxing Township were merged into Qinggang town.
In December 2003, seven villages of Qinggang Town, Laifeng town and Shizi town were merged and changed into Qinggang street.
In November 2010, Laifeng town was set up in Qinggang street.
