Xiaomian Town, subordinate to Hechuan District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Hechuan District, adjacent to Sanhui town in the East, Shitan town in the south, Guandu town and Laitan town in the West and shuanghuai town in the north. It is 49.5km away from the people's Government of Hechuan District, with a total area of 63.03km2.
In the Ming Dynasty, xiaolichang was first built around Xiaomian town; in May 1965, Xiaomian commune established Xiaomian town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiao Mian town was 33107. As of June 2020, Xiaomian town has 1 community and 10 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Xiaomian town is located at No. 9 administrative street.

History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, xiaolichang was first built.
In 1897, xiaolichang was renamed xiaoxichang. Qing Guangxu 32 years (1906), is Hezhou Mianhui township.
In 1931, Xiaomian Town, the third district of Hechuan County, was established. In 1941, Xiaomian town was changed into Xiaomian township.
In March 1953, Xiaomian town was set up by Xiaomian township.
In September 1958, Xiaomian Township, Xiaomian town and Damien Township merged to form Xiaomian commune.
In August 1962, Xiaomian commune set up Damian commune.
In May 1965, Xiaomian commune established Xiaomian town.
In December 1983, Xiaomian commune was changed into Xiaomian township.
In April 1984, Xiaomian township was merged into Xiaomian town.
In December 1993, Bajiao township was merged into Xiaomian town.
