Caojie Street
Caojie street, belonging to Hechuan District of Chongqing, is located on the Bank of Jialing River in the southeast of Hechuan district. It is adjacent to Shuangfeng town in the East, Tuchang town in the southeast, Dongyang town in Beibei District in the south, Yanjing street and Chengjiang town in Beibei District in the southwest, Yanjing Street in the west, yuyucheng street in the northwest, Shuangfeng town in the north and Yunmen street across the river. In the early Qing Dynasty, caojiezichang, tanzikan and longdongtuochang were set up in Caojie street; in December 2009, caojiezhen was set up in caojiezhen. As of June 2020, Caojie street has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 9 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 46, Yulong road.

History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, there were caojiezichang, tanzikanchang and longdongtuochang in the territory; in 1728, caojiezichang, tanzikanchang and longdongtuochang belonged to mingyueli in Hezhou; in 1906, caojiezichang, tanzikanchang and longdongtuochang belonged to Longding town in Hezhou.
In 1926, caojiezichang, tanzikan, longdongtuochang and maliuping were changed into administrative townships. In 1931, caojiezi and maliuping townships merged into caojiezhen. Tanzikan and Shuangfeng townships were divided into yujiaxiang, Longdong and Tanzi townships, belonging to the second district. In 1939, Caojie town was changed into a township, and Tanzi town and Longdong town were merged into Longtan town. In 1941, Longtan town was divided into Longdong Township and Tanzi township.
In December 1949, Caojie Township, Tanzi Township and Longdong Township belonged to the second district (later renamed Yanjing District).
In February 1953, Maliu township was built in fencaojie and Yanjing township; in August of the same year, Xiaomiao township was built in fentanzi and Yanjing township; in October of the same year, Caojie town was built in fencaojie township.
In January 1956, Maliu township was merged into Caojie Township, and Xiaomiao township was transferred to Yanjing and Tanzi townships.
In September 1958, the township was changed into a commune, and Caojie town was merged into Caojie commune.
In August 1962, Maliu commune was established by Caojie commune.
In July 1968, Caojie was renamed Chaoyang, Tanzi Jianshe, Longdong Hongguang and Maliu Hongyan.
In January 1972, the original names of Caojie commune, Tanzi commune, Liuping commune and Longdong commune were restored.
In March 1981, Maliu commune was renamed Liuping commune.
In December 1983, Caojie commune, Tanzi commune, Liuping commune and Longdong commune were changed into townships.
In December 1993, Hechuan district was withdrawn and township was built. Caojie Township and Liuping Township were merged into Caojie Town, and Tanzi Township and Longdong Township were merged into Tanzi town.
In June 2001, Tanzi town was merged into Caojie town.
In December 2009, Caojie street was set up in Caojie town.
